Take a deep dive into
leadership, advocacy and activism …

Apply to the Stokes Civic Leadership Institute by July 7

Throughout their lifetimes, Carl and Louis Stokes tackled tough community issues and created a legacy of leadership, advocacy and activism. To honor that legacy, Stokes: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future and Cleveland Leadership Center are launching the Stokes Civic Leadership Institute – a 10-month deep dive into tough community issues in the areas of:

-Education
-Workforce Development
-Housing
-Health
-Community and police relations

Forty Fellows (rising leaders) will be selected to participate through a highly selective application process. The program will run from October 2017 through June 2018. The Fellows will take a deep dive into the 5 issues and then work closely with Tri-C’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center to design and deliver a forum for each of the policy areas. More information can be found by reviewing the program schedule.
