Cleveland NAACP remembers Alton Sterling, Philandro Castile, others killed by police

The Cleveland chapter of the NAACP held a memorial service Monday morning for two African Americans recently fatally shot by police officers, as well as others shot and killed by police officers over the past few years.

The two killed by officers last week were Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. 

Cleveland NAACP President Michael Nelson began the memorial citing both Sterling and Castle, as well as others locally and nationally killed by police officers over the past few years. Nelson said that black men and women have a right to live without fear.
